Patterns in front of the house are drawn using rice powder every morning. She uses an advanced technique of drawing everything in double lines.


This South Indian practice is not only for decoration, but has social, spiritual, and symbolic meanings. These drawings purify the entrance space and is a symbol of welcoming the gods into their home.
